Mood Affects Perception

A study reported today suggests that our mood literally affects the way we see the  world. Being in a good mood correlates with our taking in more information about our surroundings. Conversely, we seem to suffer tunnel vision when viewing the world while in a bad mood. “Good moods enhance the literal size of the window through which we see the world,” reports Taylor Schmitz

It is fact, that one of the functions of our stress response is to narrow our field of vision, with a design that we should focus on the threat. The study helps reinforce this:
