In Darkness; Be Whole

If done correctly (read: taught with the right intent), martial arts can expand one’s psyche to include brave new inner worlds.

Chin up?  Lean back?  No.

Chin down.  Lean forward.  Somewhat counter-intuitive to put one’s head in the forefront; however, this is of utmost importance to develop the right attitude towards fighting.  Screwing one’s feet down into the floor to uproot the opponent.

Scott says that sometimes things need to be explained for the student to understand.  That’s what makes it an internal martial art.  I like that.

And if done correctly, martial arts can expand one’s psyche to include brave new inner worlds.
